Job Summary:

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of SESLOC's internal and external marketing campaigns and activities, from inception to completion, in support of strategic initiatives and annual business goals. Will use digital marketing strategies and marketing automation tools to deliver timely, relevant, and personalized experiences across the entire member lifecycle. Will drive brand and product awareness (demand generation), engagement, onboarding, loyalty and retention, member satisfaction, ensuring increased share of wallet and lifetime member value. The position will manage direct reports and provide overall support as needed within the marketing department.

Key Qualifications:

A four-year college degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a business related field and five to eight years of experience in marketing or advertising, with at least 2 years in a customer lifecycle management role. Credit Union or financial institution experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with marketing automation (MA) or customer relationship management (CRM) software required, with in-depth understanding of architecture, ecosystems and environments to maximize campaign development and build efficient workflows.
  • Ability to analyze performance and apply insights to optimize and enhance engagement and conversion.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, train and delegate responsibilities to staff, and motivates staff via an inspirational, rewarding and positive environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, highly detailed and thorough, efficient at making checklists, work-back schedules, and strong ability to manage a project from inception to completion.
  • Communicates effectively, clearly, and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Proficient in AP writing style and working knowledge of other common editorial styles. Ability to determine relevant facts and exercise independent judgment to communicate messages that resonate with specific audiences, appropriate voice and tone.
  • Skilled in crafting and conveying compelling narratives in written or verbal mediums.

This position will be based out of our San Luis Obispo Headquarters. In office work is expected a number of days a week but work from home flexibility is available for this position.
